Dive Gear - Scuba Diving Equipment
What Scuba Diving Equipment Do I Need?
During your preparation meeting with one of our dive instructors, we’ll review that with you. But… For now… A very brief summary.
Fins, Mask & Snorkel
You’ll need your own fins, mask & snorkel for your PADI Open Water Diver Course. It’s quite important that you come discuss it with one of our dive gear advisor. The choice of fins depends on your physical condition and the type of diving you’ll be doing. For your mask… The “fit” is crucial, unless you’d like it to be filling up with water all the time :P
So… Come to Total Diving - Montreal Scuba to discuss your needs and select a proper set of dive gear - for safety, comfort and pleasure.
Wetsuit
A wetsuit is like a bathing suit… As far as I am concerned, you should have your own ;) We’ll discuss that also during your prep session for your PADI Open Water Diver course.
SCUBA System
The core of your scuba diving system will be provided to you during the pool part of your PADI Open Water Diver Course. However, we strongly advise that you acquire your own dive gear very early on. That way, you’ll learn in scuba diving equipment that really fits you. You’ll learn better! You’ll have more fun! and you’ll be better prepared to go jumping off a boat during your next vacations! It’s about trust, comfort and knowledge of your dive gear.
The Rest!
The Total Diving dive shop in NDG offers also a selection of fun gear for all kind of aquatic activities, including snorkeling, freediving, spearfishing and swimming. Come have a coffe with a dive instructor in Montreal and we’ll show you all of our toys :)
